Mary Claire is gaining weight

At today's doctor visit, Mary Claire gained back all of her weight to 6lb 14oz. She also grew 1 inch longer to 20 inches. Mary Terrell and Mimi were so pleased when they called me at the office. When I got home from work, I noticed how much she is changing. Starting to grow eyebrows and eye lashes, her legs are longer too. We are so fortunate to have such a beautiful baby. She is a joy to be around. Her reflux problem is getting better. Our pediatrician told us she is getting better every day. Keeping her on meds for a little while to make sure she continues in the right direction.

Change 9/17

Today we noticed our baby girl changing a bit. Mary Claire's face is starting to be more defined. And her little body is filling out too. Just 14 days old and we are so in love with her. Going to work makes me miss her during the day. But I am so glad that Mary Terrell can stay home to take care of her. Mimi is doing a great job - round the clock. It is amazing how much laundry a 6 lb child can produce. We all laugh at Mary Claire's smiles and the way her personality is developing.

Today 9/14

Today Mary Claire is 11 days old. It has been facinating to see her life start. We can not believe how well she is doing. She is sleeping well every night and we have to wake her to feed. As we bathed her today, she showed us smiles and funny faces that words can not describe. Even her lips and ears and nose are pretty. She smiles a lot. We love how she uses her hands to steady her self on us. She is pretty. And we are blessed.
